Important mentions:
In 1999 and 2004, Mont Ventoux was climbed in a 21,5 km individual time trial.
The top 50 doesn't include time ascents from 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2005 editions of the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré because of the lack of the data.

  1. i'm pretty certain that in 2004 they did a ITT on Alpe d'Huez, Ventoux wasn't even in that year's race. it was the stage when lance did the 2'nd best time on alpe d'huez and caught basso from behind.
    i seriously doubt the organisers would do 2 mountain TT's in the same year.

    1. in 2004 the itt to ventoux was in Dauphine Libere, not Tour de France

  2. Marco Pantani is the faster climber to Ventoux in a stage that is not a Itt.
    I would have liked watching Marco in a Itt to Ventoux because i think he would have been the absolutely faster climber
